Correspondence from Darrow's files relating to history of physics, 1943-1968.

Correspondence relating to the history of physics that Darrow had collected over his years in the profession, most of it from the 1950s and early 1960s. Included is correspondence from James W. Davisson regarding his father, Clinton Joseph Davisson, correspondence from Frank Diehl Fackenthal and William B. Pegram regarding George Pegram, a letter from Frederick Bedell discussing his book "Alternating Currents," and its relationship to current (1955) telephone technology, a letter from Charles Kittel (1954) regarding the chronology of cyclotron resonance, a copy of a letter received through William F. Meggers from Arthur L. Kimball to Henry Crew advising him on making application to study under Henry A. Rowland at Johns Hopkins University in 1884. Other correspondents include: Hans A.
